Due to the spread of COVID-19 in our county and the anticipation of a spike following the Thanksgiving holiday, we have decided to move to full remote learning for all students beginning December 1st through December 3rd. There is no school on December 4th. We will return to face-to-face/hybrid instruction on Monday, December 7th.
While we do not currently have any outbreaks of COVID-19 in any of our buildings, we feel that we must take this extra precaution to ensure the safety and health of our students and staff and to preserve our ability to offer in-person instruction for the remainder of the school year.
It is our intention to present our plan for the start of the second semester to the BOE at our study session on Wednesday, December 2, at 5:30 p.m. at McKinley High School's Downtown Campus.
