The Canton City School District Office of Student, Family, and Community Support will sponsor a Summer Fair on Thursday, April 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Commons of the McKinley High School Downtown Campus.
The purpose of this informational fair is to connect our families with camps and summer activities in which to participate over the break.
The fair will have a “Healthy Living” theme with ideas and organizations that inspire and incorporate healthy activities for summer.
The district felt it was more important than ever to help guide families to our partners in the community as many of our own summer school programming has been cut due to lack of funding.
As part of the activities, our Early Childhood Department will honor one preschool students as a “Shining Star” from each of our seven preschool buildings.
Among our many confirmed partners are: EN-RICH-MENT, First Tee of Canton, Glazed & Amused, Mad Science, Arts In Stark, Camp Tippecanoe, the Stark County District Library, The Eric Snow YMCA, and many more.
For more information or to partner with the district in bringing your summer fun to our kids, call 330-438-2500.
