ARTS ACADEMY FAMILY DONATES SHOES TO HONOR SON LOST TO SUDC
This week Tyra and Tyler Cleveland, students at the Arts Academy, along with their parents, Artavia & Mark Cleveland, donated 136 new pairs of shoes and 157 pairs of socks. The donation is in honor of their little brother, Tayjon J. Cleveland who passed away on August 15, 2016 due to Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).
The Cleveland Family started their shoe drive as a way to celebrate what would have been Tayjon’s 5th birthday on January 22, to spread awareness for SUDC, and to benefit children in the CCSD.
The family collected donations from all over the country, including many SUDC families.

Parents of CCSD students in need of shoes or socks may contact Arts Academy Community Worker Nina Vassar at email@example.com with your child’s shoe size and school.
