HOME LEARNING

Welcome to Home Learning in the Canton City Schools

  • Governor Mike DeWine has extended the school closure order through May 1, 2020. As a result, the Canton City School District (CCSD) has created a plan to serve the needs of students through the month of April and beyond, if it becomes necessary.

Communication will be very important during this time.  In addition to posting all updates here on the district website and through our Facebook page, all of our teachers, principals, and district administrators are available via email to answer any questions you may have. Please also take advantage of our district hotline with your questions: (330) 438-2500.

  • Is Meal Service Continuing?

    Posted by:

Yes. Three "Grab 'n Go" meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will continue to be provided each day, Monday - Friday, at each of our schools between the hours of 9:00AM and 11:00AM. This service will be provided during the entirety of the school closure. Meals are also being brought into neighborhoods at various bus stops. Click here for the full schedule of bus drop meal delivery.

  • How do parents reach the buildings?

    Posted by:

PK-5:  Class Dojo is the main form of communication for PK-5.  Families can contact their principals and teachers via Class Dojo.  They can also be reached through email.

6-12: Email is the best way to contact secondary principals. Also, families can connect to the principal’s Remind account.

    • All PK-5 teachers (and principals) are communicating to their families via Class Dojo.  This is the main form of communication for PK-5.
