• Program Description

    The Practical Nurse Program provides the skills, knowledge, and behaviors that are necessary to safely and effectively engage in the practice of licensed practical nursing. Successful completion of the program will enable finding employment in long-term care facilities, hospitals, and clinics.

    The curriculum meets the requirements of the Ohio Board of Nursing and the Ohio Board of Higher Education. The program also has a written articualtion agreement with the Stark State College Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program.

    Program Costs:

    • Nonrefundable Pre-Admission Cost: $90.00. Includes application and testing fee.
    • Tuition Cost: $14,555.00. Includes health screenings, textbooks, supplies, uniforms, graduation costs, and NCLEX-PN certification test.

    Full-Time Day Program

    August - June
    Classroom/Lab: 8:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday (August - October)
    Clinicals: 6:45am - 2:45pm, Thursday - Friday (October - June)

    Part-Time Day Program

    August - June for two consecutive years
    Classroom/Lab: 9:30am - 1:30pm, Monday - Thursday (August - October)
    Clinicals: 6:45am - 2:45pm, Thursday (October - June)

    Part-Time Evening Program

    August - June for two consecutive years
    Classroom/Lab: 5:00pm - 9:00pm, Monday - Thursday (August - October)
    Clinicals: 2:45pm - 10:45pm, Thursday (October - June)
