Canton City Schools

The Arts Academy at Summit will conduct assessments for students (visual and musical) who will be in grades 3-8 for the 2008-09 school year.  The assessments are by appointment only and will take place at Summit School on May 16 and 17 from 9:00 - 3:00. Funded by the Mason Elementary School PTA

1)      Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors from Canton City Schools.

2)      Applicants must be graduating seniors with verification of acceptance by a college and attended Mason School for at least three years.

3)      Applicant must have and maintain a 3.0 average.

4)      Application must be returned to student’s counselor by Monday, May 19^th. Applications are available at McKinley, Timken and Mason.

5)      Counselors will forward application to Mason no later than Friday, May 23, 2008 with official transcript of grades. Send to:  Attention: PTA Scholarship Committee

6)      Three Letters of Recommendation should be mailed (on or before May 23, 2008) to: Mason Elementary School, Scholarship Committee, 316 – 30^th St., NE Canton Ohio 44709

Late Registration: June 16, 2008

First Session: June 16-July 4, 2008

Second Session: July 7-July 25, 2008

Cost: Canton City School Students - $80 per ½ credit

         All other students: $100 per ½ credit

ALL FEES MUST BE PAID AT TIME OF REGISTRATION
