The Special Education Department of the Canton City Schools is committed to the achievement of students with disabilities from preschool through high school graduation. We believe in high expectations for all students. We believe that special education is a set of supports and services rather than a place, with a focus on the student rather than on the disability.

IDEA-B

The Canton City School District provides educational services to students with disabilities utilizing federal assistance through IDEA-B funds to enhance the basic program.  An application is on file at the CCS Administrative Center and is available for examination and recommendation by district residents.  Questions or suggestions should be directed to the Office of Special Education at 330-438-2551.
