The Practical Nurse Program of Canton City Schools was established in 1967 to help Provide nurses for the community. The School is under the direction and supervision of the Board of Education, Canton City School District, and is an adult career and technical education program. The Program is offered to those who meet the admission criteria regardless of race, color, religion, nation origin, handicap, gender, ancestry, marital status, or age. The Practical Nurse Program of Canton City Schools is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing and the State of Ohio Department of Education. The Program is accredited by the North Central Association of Schools.

School Year: Forty-five (45) weeks, August through June

Students attend classes / clinical experiences approximately thirty (30) to thirty-six (36) hours per week.


 

Class hours: 8 am - 3:30 pm, or 5 pm - 9 pm

Clinical hours: 6:45 am - 3 pm, or 2:45 pm - 11 pm
