The Computer Systems Administration Program (CSA) is designed to prepare students for entry-level work as a field service technician, technical support technician, Help Desk position, or as a Systems Administrator of Windows Desktops & Servers or Unix & Linux machines.  The program is also well-suited for the IT professional wishing to upgrade their systems administration skills.

Admission Requirements

  • Successfully pass Pre-Entrance Assessment & Interview.
  • GED or High School Diploma

Systems Administration Related Careers: Entry Level: Computer Systems Administrator, Computer Repair Technician, Help Desk Support Technician, and Network Technician.

Career Advancement: Those completing the program could find work in nearly any industry in one or more roles related to Systems Administration.  Upon entry into the field, the Systems Administrator can rise further into systems and/or networking, branch off into one of many other IT careers, and advance into a management role.  The Systems Administrator interacts with nearly every individual within an organization and learns just about every aspect of the operations and management of the organization.  As such, they have a higher than normal exposure to the people, processes, and knowledge necessary for advancement.
