Home Health Aide / Nurse Aide Training

As the population is aging, the needs for people with these skills are increasing at a rapid rate. This program prepares participants for employment as an aide in a skilled nursing or intermediate care facility.

Admission Criteria

  • Physical exam
  • Two-stage Mantoux TB test
  • Hepatitis B Vaccine (optional)
  • Police Check
  • Successfully pass pre-entrance assessment and interview

Class Schedule
Start Date: August/January
End Date: September/March
Site: Martin Center/ 1253 Third Street S.E.
Days/Times: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
