Automotive Service Technician

Ohio NATEF ASE Certified - Today's technician must keep pace with the constant changes in the automotive industry. We emphasize hands-on training and students sit for ASE Certification Exam in one of the following areas upon completion of the 900 clock hour program including 160 hours of supervised, unpaid externship in an automotive environment.

Automotive Service Technician Facts 

The Automotive Service Technician Program develops skills in such areas as:

  • Electronics                              
  • Engine Performance              
  • Computers/Diagnostics       
  • Suspensions
  • Tires
  • General Maintenance and Repair

Upon completion of the program, graduates sit for the ASE certification Ecam in one of the following areas:

  • Brakes
  • Engine Repair
  • Engine Performance
  • Suspension and Steering
  • Electronics/Electrical

Class Schedule
Start Date: September
End Date: June
Days/Times: Monday through Thursday (Fridays required during externship)
8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
