Canton City Schools

In November 1999, the citizens of Canton enthusiastically approved a bond issue that, maatched with generous state funds, will provide $176 million to renovate or rebuild every school in the district. The momentum provided by citizens' support at the ballot box has carried over to the implementation of programs designed to heighten student achievement through added resources, critical staffing and professional development. Strategic planning, careful stewardship of resources, and ongoing support from the citizens of Canton hold the promise of a bright future for the Canton City Schools.
