I serve on the Board of Education for Canton City Schools because:
I want to help the district build on it's academic progress, improve understanding between the schools and the community, encourage students to be ready for the next step after graduation and develop ways to attract more families to Canton.
Most memorable moments at CCS:
Watching my oldest three daughters graduate and anticipating my son's graduation this year.
What inspires me:
Optimism and perseverance, alone or together, in the face of extreme obstacles or everyday life.
The best advice I was ever given or can give:
From my grandmother - It takes three muscles to smile and one hundred to frown - so smile it's easier.
