USE OF FACILITIES

1. Regulations for use of facilities are printed on the back of the REQUEST FOR USE OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS. A copy follows this page.

2. When a building is used after regularly assigned shift hours or on weekends and when the use of a building requires the payment of staff overtime, the arrangement is made through the Office of the Business Manager.

3. During the school day, the school principal or facility manager schedules the use of a facility to meet his/her staff’s programs and needs. Other school personnel make arrangements to use a facility through the Office of the Business Manager.

4. As far in advance as possible, elementary school principals should send schedules of evening PTA meetings, school programs, etc., on the REQUEST FOR USE OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS to the Office of the Business Manager. This information helps to minimize conflicts with the Canton Recreation Department’s use of elementary schools for evening recreation programs.
